Shepherd Hut Part Builds & Kits

Our flat-pack style huts are a cost-effective solution for clients who are willing and able to assemble them on their own. They also provide a practical option for those who need to construct the hut in a specific location where a fully built unit cannot be delivered.

We build the each section to a very high standard using 4x2 treated timber, with a covering of sterling board to add extra strength and longevity. Unlike other companies you will not just receive a big pile of timber or poorly constructed panels. 

The Rafters are constructed using plywood and finish at 36mm thick. We combine these with 3x2 timber purlins to create an extremely strong roof structure. 

The chassis are built by a skilled local fabricator. They are constructed with 75mmx40mm steel box section, which we coat with a rust proof paint.
We Pair these with the traditional solid cast iron wheels, Unlike many others using cheap steel wheels. 

Costs. 
Prices for a 18ft x 8 ft kit start at around £5000. This would be for the floor, walls ans roof sections without a chassis. Smaller options are of course available.

A little bit of our story behind the shepherd huts. 

we initially specialized in building completed huts with a wide range of specification tailored to the rental market. However, in response to growing demand for kits and a struggle to keep up the the genreal carpentry side of the business  we now primarily focus on offering the part builds and kits.

That said, we are open to discussing more comprehensive build projects if needed.
